Time Management
Tip

Set aside 10 minutes every evening to plan your business and personal schedule for the next day.

Write down the high priority items and highlight them so that they don’t get missed.  The lower priority items can be done only after all high priority items have been taken care of.

If your list is particularly long, try to think of ways that you can delegate some of the tasks.

By discussing your schedule with your family members, you may be able to get some help, particularly with household chores.

Planning ahead on a daily basis, rather than weekly, can relieve some of the stress of feeling overwhelmed, and allow you to get the most important things done on time!
Clutter Control Tips to Maintain Order

Make a decision to begin tackling your clutter.  Consider sacrificing some TV or computer time and begin with a drawer or kitchen cabinet.  Ok, now what?

1. Remove everything from the space first, so that you can begin with a clean slate.

2. Sort and Purge.  Be ruthless!!  If you are not using it or don't love it, toss it!

3. Purchase drawer or cabinet organizers to organize what's left.

4. If your drawer or cabinet is still pretty full, try to donate or toss more items or place them into a back-up area or long term storage if you do not use them often. If you do not create some breathing space, you will quickly return to the original state.

5. To prevent clutter from accumulating again, plan to do a 3 month review (write a reminder in your day planner) and purge more items if you are not using them!  If you're not using it, you won't miss it!
